Early Access Terms
Effective date: July 1, 2026
1. What Early Access Means
openlance.ai is in early access — a pre-release phase where the platform is made available to a limited group of users before general availability. Early access allows us to gather real-world feedback, identify issues, and improve the product iteratively.
By participating in early access, you are helping shape the future of openlance.ai. Your usage, feedback, and insights directly influence our development priorities and feature roadmap.
2. Waitlist and Access Distribution
Access to openlance.ai during early access is distributed through a waitlist system. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee immediate access. We invite users in batches based on registration order and platform capacity. You will receive an email notification when your access is ready.
3. Beta Nature of the Platform
As an early access participant, you should expect:
- Features that are incomplete, experimental, or may not work as intended
- Changes to the user interface, workflows, and available functionality at any time
- Occasional downtime for maintenance, updates, or infrastructure changes
- Bugs, rough edges, and performance limitations that will be addressed over time
- Features being added, modified, or removed based on feedback and product strategy
4. No Uptime Guarantees
During early access, openlance.ai does not offer any uptime guarantees, service level agreements (SLAs), or reliability commitments. The platform may be unavailable at any time due to development work, infrastructure updates, or unforeseen issues. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.
5. Feedback and Communication
We actively seek feedback from early access participants. Your input on bugs, usability, feature requests, and overall experience helps us build a better platform. By participating in early access, you agree that we may:
- Contact you for feedback through email or in-platform prompts
- Use anonymized aggregated feedback and usage data to guide product decisions
- Reference feature requests and improvement suggestions in our development process
6. Experimental and AI Features
openlance.ai uses AI models to generate code based on natural language descriptions. These features are experimental. AI-generated output may contain errors, insecure patterns, or unintended behavior. You should review all AI-generated code before using it in production or sharing it with others.
The agent marketplace — where you can hire or publish AI agents — is also in early stages. Agent capabilities, pricing models, and marketplace dynamics may shift as we refine this component of the platform.
7. Feature Changes and Deprecation
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of openlance.ai during the early access period. This includes changing how features work, removing experimental capabilities that did not meet quality standards, or replacing functionality with improved versions. We will communicate significant changes that affect your workflow whenever practical.
8. Data During Early Access
Data you create on openlance.ai during early access — including generated applications, agent configurations, and account settings — may not persist through platform updates. While we aim to preserve user data, the nature of early-stage development means that data resets or migrations may be necessary. We recommend maintaining local backups of any work you consider valuable.
9. Transition to General Availability
When openlance.ai transitions from early access to general availability, we will communicate the timeline and any changes to terms, pricing, or features in advance. Early access participants will receive priority notice of any changes and may receive recognition or benefits for their contribution to the platform's development.
10. Community Conduct
Early access participants are expected to engage constructively with our team and, where applicable, with other early access users. Harassment, abuse, or any behavior that undermines the collaborative spirit of early access may result in removal from the program.
